Progress?

I've been running the network monitoring stuff for a couple of days now - and it's beginning to tell an interesting story. I've no idea how it ends and am only loosely acquainted with the plot, but some structure is just beginning to emerge...

Here's the last couple of days findings, based on the download of the same small file every 60 seconds:

At the end of day one I was wondering how an earth Les could have detected nothing last week: The interference - if that's what it is - kicked in at midday and continued through until 8pm, pretty strong ('forget using the internet' strong) - and Les was here mid afternoon.  But today there wasn't a hint of it during the day - although it kicked in again at about 10.50pm for an hour, and brought the connection down completely. This is the last couple of hours:

The red dots pretty much correspond to 'your computer has no internet connection'. But the reality is that, from 10.50pm for an hour or more, it doesn't matter whether it thinks it's got one or not - you can't use it.

Observations based on this tiny sample?

• I've not seen any interference during the nighttime - from 1am to 8am
  
• For three nights running, there's been interference present at midnight, starting not long before.

Which says to me that this is something domestic, it's being switched on and off for long periods and... well who knows. Video senders?

I'll keep running with it. Sherlock Holmes has nothing on me.
