Shopping kinda breaks down into three categories: Groceries, Clothes, Everything Else. We get groceries delivered by Ocado. I get clothes gifted by well-meaning members of my family, out of pity - unless they're work clothes, in which case Charles Tyrwhitt currently does the trick. Everything else - well, we get absolutely everything else from Amazon. Everything. We pay them £50 a year for free delivery, why would you do otherwise? (Helps to have a friendly receptionist at work).

Of course, this has led to mass wringing-of-hands over the future of the UK's High Streets. I glance South and note that Wallington has yet to become the achingly cool destination of choice for the metro-gastronimi that it aspires to be. On the plus side, I am overwhelmed with choice should I need my hair 'styled', my fingernails re-imagined or my belly filled with high-fat pastry products 'baked on the premises'. Whilst placing a bet on something or another in between.
