If I manage to get out for lunch, I invariably blow anything up to a fiver on Gregg's high-fat multi-pastry selection for office workers. When for 50% more I could get something a) interesting and b) (relatively) healthy at Thai Pinto. All I need is somebody engaging to talk to.
I work in IT. We're ALL fascinating. Haven't posted pictures of Sunday Chow for yonks. Not sure what to say - been very busy and it's just slipped my mind. We're trying to slowly move the girls away from having EXACTLY THE SAME dinner every Sunday, so, in an exciting deviation from the norm, there are no courgettes. Also, making a guest appearance, peas (which don't warrant capitalisation) and SPROUTING BROCCOLI (which does). To further intensify the fevered anticipation, I have included a picture of our dual colanders: This is a professional kitchen and no mistake. Do you know what really annoys me? People who implore you to 'Enjoy!'* Clearly, I am not going to do that. * Although not as much as borderline alcoholics who excuse a glass of wine at three in the afternoon by describing it as 'Cheeky!'
