And submitted her dissertation, a day early. Last Sunday. After we'd been up until 4.20am wasting reams of paper by spotting mistakes every time we churned out another 70-page copy. The final chapter in a two-year marathon slog and a fantastic measure of academic commitment that she certainly didn't learn from me. Jolly well done.
So now she doesn't know what to do with herself, although I have suggested she could devote the next two-years to me, instead of "Skill Mix in Health Visiting: Health Visitors’ perspectives on delegation of responsibility, the implications for professional accountability and the ramifications for staff retention in a Children’s Universal Service".
Because, frankly, I am a lot more interesting.
